The Association "Comunità Papa Giovanni XXIII" (APG23) was granted with Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC (the United Nations Economic and Social Council).
The ECOSOC is one of the principal organs of the United Nations, that treat issues related to social development, justice and peace.

The APG23 commitment at the United Nations is the result of sharing life with the poor and all the action of removal of the causes that generate poverty, injustice and marginalization, carried out by the APG23 in the world. The APG23 promotes in every country where it is present the respect for all human rights and denounces violations. The Geneva permanent representative promotes these instances in the context of the United Nations and tries to be the voice of the voiceless.

In particular actively participates in the following UN bodies and mechanisms:

The priorities that APG23 advocates for at UN are:

In 2012 Fabio Agostoni and his family have joined the Dr. Rossi and in 2014, even Tonelotto Lucia joined the Delegation.
